SAIL 2 SEE - A unique Océanis 45 ready for world wide sailing

 This Oceanis 45 has been prepared to sail around the world, throughout the Atlantic, and anywhere you want excluding ice bound waters.

Unlike most OCEANIS 45 on the market this boat is uptodate with most equipment renewed in 2024 and has been cared for by a single mature couple concerned with comfort and safety. It has not been damaged by chartering like most boats on the market.

If you have a sailing program, this is a boat that is both lusuriously comfortable like a Catamaran yet a true sailboat capable of heading into any seas. We have sailed it 10 years in the Carribean, the Atlantic, the English coasts and the Mediterranean. This means we have replaced all original equipment that was not adapted to high seas travel. 

We ask a very low price (see expert evaluation in the inventory) for the quality of the equipment. We love our boat and offer, included in the price if you buy it, to accompany you at no cost to any destination worldwide in order to help you master all equipement (food and return to home travel only). Of course we include in the sale all the digital documentation we have been gathering to maintain and replace all equipment.

The boat is presently on land in Sardaigna located in Abratax. It is registered in the USA. Ready to sail it just needs to be put back in the water and to choose your safety raft, your dinghy. These items are specific to the use you will make of this boat.

Ideal if you want to sail and see the world as a family, with friends or if you want to make it your business to host guests. We called it « SAIL 2 SEE » (we sail to go see places) since this has been our program for the last 10 years. We are selling the boat due to our age. This is not the boat for those who sail only a few weekends a year or on their vacation.

 PORT GINESTA 2

We arrived here in JUNE to leave for the summer. Since we have no buyer and the market is low we have decided to sail the Mediterranean and bring the boat to the Adriatic. 

Yesterday we did a sea test and all went well so we can go. Minorca, Sardaigne, Tunisia, Italy, Greece, Crete, Peloponnese and up the Adriatic. I doubt I'll get to Venice but the idea tempts me ... a lot!.

I had not expected to sail my boat again! It is an interesting renewal with Sail2See. I really want to live this experience as a new phase of sailing. Next boat will be Louisiane who is waiting for us at home.

I have decided that even if the experts think the boat is worth 250 to 300 000€ I am going to sell it for   220 000 Euros to someone who will really appreciate it. A couple that want to travel? A lone wolf who wants to do some chartering? Friends who want a Water Sailing Share able to be in far places for vacations? I know how I hesitated before buying this wonderful way of living.

We arrived here after refitting and a long uninterrupted year of sailing for me and I decided to sell the boat. I wanted to sell it in excellent sailing condition. The rigging and mast were replaced in 2024.

We did a full anti-fouling hull renewal in 2025. They put 3 coats of primer and 2 coats of antifouling. Work done by the Ginesta work yard.

We are ready to "deliver" the boat, once you have purchased it, anywhere in the world for free (you pay our ticket back to our home and our food costs). This means informing you of all the top of the line  equipment on this boat during the delivery.
