The boat is situated in ABRATAX, Sardaigna in a private yard that maintains the boat in good condition
All of the information concerning the equipment of the boat is published in this blog. We will provide the buyer with copies of our files that identify the equipment and sources for maintenance purposes.
We have opted to let you equip the boat with an annex (the model depends on your program) and a life raft adapted to your needs (size depends on number of persons aboard). All other equipment is ready to sail in high seas world wide.
The boat was initially produced by Beneteau in France in a framework agreement with its distributor QuoVadis in order to create a sailing school. This boat was thus over equipped to meet training and promotional objectives with an initial selling price of 360 000€.
We then bought the boat in 2016 as the distributor QuoVadis was sold to a new owner not interested in the sailing school project. We then invested over 50 000€ to equip the boat and since have spent over 100 000€ maintaining it and replacing most of it's equipment in 2024.
To reduce costs, and being American, we have registered the boat in the USA. It can be registered in any country that accepts foreigners. Should you want to register it in Europe we can assist you. All of the boat documentation is up to date.
To see the boat you need to make an appointment with us so we can coordinate with the yard.
To do a trial at sea, this is possible with the following conditions:
1 - we need to agree on a time at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance as the yard has to make arrangements
2 - it will cost us 2000€ to organise a trial at sea due to the yard having to move boats to free our boat and the costs of putting the boat in and out of the water.
This cost will be deducted from the price should you buy the boat. However we ask for pre payment since we have to disburse this amount to organise the trial at sea.

3 - Should you want an expert to just visit the boat, we need to organise 2 to 3 weeks ahead so the yard can accompany your expert. The yard charges us 300€ to prepare for the visit and accompany your expert. Our expert, specialised in maintaining, repairing and preparing boats for competitions, considers that our boat is worth at minimum 250 000€ and more likely 300 000€ due to it's equipments, new sails and complete autonomy (electrical & Water).
LEARNING THE BOAT'S SYSTEMS - DELIVERY
We offer the new owner of the boat the possibility, once he owns it, to have us sail the boat to any destination world-wide. We only ask for our costs to be covered with NO PAY. This means food and lodging and ticket to return home to Europe where we often live.
